Watering
Systems |
| |
A watering
system
straight from the Water Butt - save time, save money and save
plants! |
| |
-
Watermate is a
unique and revolutionary watering system designed to meet the
needs of modern gardening and growing.
-
Over 10 000
gallons of rain falls on the average house every year and
everyone knows rainwater’s best for your plants. So why
not make use of this and give your plants a helping hand at the
same time?
-
As an added
bonus your water bill will plummet as you no longer have to pay
through the water meter for using mains water.
|

Watermate Pump
Includes 7m Suction Hose and Foot-valve Filter |
Easily waters a 10 foot greenhouse and can be expanded to water
tunnels or larger greenhouses!
|
|

Superfine Mist Jet - Ideal to maintain the humidity in a
greenhouse or polytunnel. |

Crop Watering - A variety of jets ensure optimal watering
patterns. |
-
The Watermate
watering systems uses an efficient pump to move water from a water butt
through a micro irrigation watering system.
-
The pump is
turned on and off by a fully programmable timer so even if
you’re away on holiday, you can be confident that Watermate is
nurturing your plants with just the right amount of water when
they need it.
-
The timer can
be programmed to operate your watering system up to 10 times per day from intervals as
small as one minute, so you have complete control.
-
The powerful
pump is capable of controlling watering systems for baskets, pots, the largest of
greenhouses or even a small garden!
-
You can even
feed automatically by simply diluting feed into the water butt.
|
| |
The Watermate
watering system is as easy to install as any of our watering
systems. Simply drop the suction hose into the water butt from the
pump and then connect the pump outlet to your irrigation supply
hose as you would with any other watering system. The pump plugs into the
mains electric timer (included) which in turn plugs into a
standard electric socket.

In addition to our standard Watermate
watering systems detailed above, Watermate garden pumps and accessories are
available here. The Watermate garden pump
is designed to give you many years of trouble-free service. All
you need to do is follow a few simple procedures:
1) Ensure there is water available to the pump at all times. A
simple way to ensure this is to fit a float switch
that cuts off the pump if water is not available. Joining water
butts together (see water butt accessories) allows you to increase your storage
capacity.
2) The pump must be drained-down or otherwise protected during
periods of frost.
3) Filter your water to ensure it does not create any obstructions
(see pumps and filters).
We offer a full
backup service so please do not hesitate to contact us for
technical support and advise.
